Women's Fellowship

1 Thessalonians 5: 11 "Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing."

Women's Ministry works to provide different fellowship opportunities for sisters in Christ to gather and to be built up as we praise, laugh, eat, and pray together. All women and their friends are eagerly welcomed to partake and to be filled!

The "Sundaes for Undies" Mother/Daughter/Friend Potluck is a long-standing tradition at East Main where women invite the important women in their lives to a meal as well as entertainment by hand bell ringer Sue Garton in Fellowship Hall on Monday, May 9. Dinner begins at 6 pm with bells at 7 pm. This intergenerational event focuses on our many generations of women in the church and is a fun time to get a bit fancy and celebrate the ladies in our lives. Please bring a salad, bread, or main dish to share (a sundae dessert bar & beverages will be provided).

We are encouraging donations of undies for Days for Girls: girl sizes 10-18 & women's 5-7 briefs, bikinis, hi-cuts, & hipsters of at least 50% cotton; dark colors preferred; NO flags, weapons (including arrows), skulls, camouflage, girly glam (jewelry, kisses, high heels), or depictions of living creatures, either real or fictional (butterflies or ladybugs without eyes are OK).
