Getting Involved at East Main

There are many ways to connect here at East Main.  You can attend a study or group, volunteer in one of the various ministries, or  serve at one of our community service events through the year.  We are a unique church welcoming people from every life stage

and we'd love to meet you!

serve on our connect team

An easy, low-key place to serve is on our connect team.  You'll meet some friendly people and only volunteer once every few weeks when it is convenient for you.  It's an easy way to get involved and connected.

Greeter Team: Hand out bulletins, say 'hello' and show people where to go.

Coffee Team: Rise early and start the brew.  Perfect for the crack-of-dawn types.

Baking Team:  Bake, drop-off the goods, repeat (only as often as you choose).

Tidy-Up Team:  Check for spills, check bathrooms, and tidy-up the after services.

Food Prep Team:  Arrive before service, plate the goodies and refresh as needed.

Serve Through our community events

Every year we have multiple ways to serve our greater community.

CHLTB: Two times a year we run Church Has Left the Building (or CHLTB for short).  It's an intense day of service where  20-30 teams go out into the community to help homeowners with projects and jobs they can't do alone. The  projects usually last from 1pm - 5pm and are a fantastic way to serve and encourage our community.

Fourth of July Lawn Party: Every fourth we host a party on our property in anticipation of the town fireworks display.  It's a fun-filled time for all ages with free games, free food, free drinks, and fun treats.

Trunk or Treat: Church attendees pick a theme, decorate their cars and trucks and host a fun stop during the town's trick-or-treat night. Warm drinks and cookies offered inside and trick-or-treat options outside.
